Q: When will the sunflowers bloom?
A: UPDATE August 18th 2024:
We are sorry to share that the intense weather this year (including torrential rain in the spring and summer) have ruined our sunflowers fields.
Fields WILL NOT BE OPEN THIS SUMMER OF 2024.
Hope to see you in Summer 2025.
Q: Where do I park?
A: We share a driveway with our neighbour. Property lines will be clearly indicated and we ask that you park only in the area on our property, which is located just as you enter the driveway (Please feel free to park on the grass). There will be signs indicating where the few parking spots are. If this area is full, parking is available along the road.
Please do not drive up the long dirt driveway. That leads to our private residence.
Q: Do I have to pay to visit?
A: Entry fees are paid by donation. Suggested donation amounts are $5 per person or $20 per family.
Q: Where can I donate?
A: There will be a small box visible near the entrance for cash payment. You can also donate using the paypal button on the welcome page of this website. Alternately, please send us a message and we will happily provide an email address for direct e-transfers. Thank you!
Q: What are your hours?
A: We have no set hours.
Q: Do I need to make an appointment?
A: No, you can come when suits you.
Q: Are there washrooms onsite?
A: No.
Q: Are there garbage cans onsite?
A: No.
Q: What should I expect when I arrive?
A: There is a marked path around the outside, and through the flowers. The path is simply a mowed area, not a paved walkway, so please wear shoes you can plan to walk through a bumpy field in.
Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Dogs on leash are welcome. You must clean up after your pet and take bags home with you to dispose of. There is no garbage bin onsite.
Q: I am photographer. Can I use your sunflower field for shoots?
A: Yes. Please leave a donation in exchange for use of our fields for your business/profit.
Enjoy!
